PALA | concrete is a trading name of Suomen Laiturikauppa Oy. Founded in 2015, Suomen Laiturikauppa manufactures, among other products, concrete pontoons for both public harbours and private customers. We decided to leverage our extensive expertise in concrete construction and our existing production resources by expanding into the manufacture of concrete furniture.

The first PALA | concrete collection was launched at the Habitare furniture and design fair in autumn 2017. Since then, we have continued to develop new product collections based on our customers’ needs and also offer custom-made solutions.

All PALA concrete furniture and elements are manufactured at our factory in Vehmaa, Southwest Finland. It is important to us that our operations are as environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable as possible. Whenever possible, we choose subcontractors and partners from our local region, supporting nearby businesses and communities.

Another cornerstone of our production and quality management is the well-being of our employees. We place special emphasis on employee welfare throughout our operations, as we believe it is essential to maintaining high-quality products and a responsible workplace.

The electricity used in our concrete furniture production process comes from environmentally friendly hydropower. We also offset the CO₂ emissions generated during concrete production by planting trees in the surrounding area.
